Cause and Effect

I am VERY late in posting these pictures-it is because I have been a little ill and swamped with work BUT do not let my remiss actions take away from the magic that was the Tibetan Earthquake Benefit at the Armenian Church on May 29th.
The performances were AMAZING-and everyone who was there (packed house) were blown away by Melong Band. They were a mixture of so many things-metal, punk rock, everything-Jimi Hendrix would have been proud.
Tenzin Kunsel joined them for the last part of their set and it was amazing-she looked and sounded great as usual. Check out the capacity crowd….
And of course the new generation completely enthralled by Tenzin Kunsel and Melong Band…
Ummmmmm…ADORABLE. And fierce !
And let us not forget the man who put so much of this show together, still going
strong over 24 hours later with no sleep….
Sonam Sherpa ! He helped raise 25K in one night for the
thousands of people suffering in Tibet after the devastating
earthquake. And last, I think TK may be a budding
photographer, here is really nice shot she did of yours
truly ! It really boosted my spirits-I was feeling sick !
Toe je che Tenzin ! And thank you so much to Kalsang and the
Baro family for a lovely evening, it lifted my homesickness!

I love the picture of children you posted here. Enthralled by seeing another youngster on stage. Encouraged, I hope, that they too can do it.
And thanks for your very kind words and support.
